You’ve been told surgery
is next. Let’s find out
if that’s actually true.
A lot of people come to us after an orthopedic visit left them with two options: injections that keep wearing off, or a joint replacement. We offer a third option — and we’ll be straight with you about whether it’s the right fit.
What is Non-Surgical Joint Replacement (NSJR)
This isn’t
general chiropractic care
Non-Surgical Joint Replacement™ (NSJR) is a structured clinical program for degenerative joints — shoulders, knees, and hips that have broken down from arthritis, overuse, or just years of hard use.
Most people who come to us have already tried things. They’ve done PT. They’ve had cortisone shots. They’ve been told to “manage it” or come back when it’s bad enough to operate. What they haven’t had is a thorough exam that actually explains what’s driving the problem — and a plan built around that specific answer.
“Nobody has ever explained it to me like that.”
That’s what we hear after almost every first visit. Not because we say something magical — because we take the time to actually look.
The idea behind it
Every joint is constantly breaking down and rebuilding tissue. When things are working well, rebuilding keeps pace. But with age, injury history, and abnormal loading patterns, breakdown starts to win — and that’s when you get the grinding, the stiffness, the pain that doesn’t go away.
NSJR is built around reversing that. We use targeted therapies to stimulate the body’s own repair process, combined with a rehab plan that changes how the joint is being loaded so it’s not fighting itself every time you move.
It’s not a single treatment. It’s a system — assessment, diagnosis, regenerative therapy, and a home strategy you can actually follow.
Who’s it for
Active adults who aren’t
ready to give up the things they love
Our patients aren’t professional athletes. They’re the 47-year-old who wants to keep golfing, the runner who’s been told to stop running, the person whose knee has started dictating what they can and can’t do on a weekend. They came here because they’re not willing to accept “manage it” as a treatment plan.
- You’ve been told a replacement is the next step but want to explore every option first
- Cortisone or other injections helped short-term but the pain keeps returning
- You’ve done PT but feel like it addressed symptoms without finding the actual cause
- Your imaging shows degeneration but nobody has given you a clear plan for what to do about it
- Pain or stiffness is limiting the activities that matter to you — and you want that back
- Surgery isn’t off the table — you just want to know you’ve genuinely exhausted the alternatives
Joints we treat
Shoulder now.
Knee and hip coming soon.
Each joint has its own protocol. The way a shoulder degenerates, the way it loads, and what drives the breakdown is different from a knee — so the assessment and treatment approach is different too. That specificity is what separates NSJR from a general soft tissue visit.

What the program includes
The right tools
for your specific joint
There’s no standard package here. What goes into your plan depends on what we find in the exam. Some patients need heavy regenerative work. Some need load management and a structured home program. Most need a combination. Here’s what we work with:
- Thorough joint assessment — movement, loading patterns, what’s actually driving symptoms
- Joint-specific manual therapy and mobilization
- Progressive strengthening and load management — including BFR when appropriate
- Shockwave therapy for tissue regeneration and chronic pain
- Dry needling for muscle dysfunction around the joint
- A home strategy you can actually stick to — pacing, flare management, joint protection
Straight Talk
We’ll tell you if
it’s not the right fit
Some joints are too far gone for a non-surgical joint replacement approach to get you where you want to be. If that’s what the exam shows, we’ll tell you — clearly, without hedging — and we’ll make sure you get to the right person.
We’d rather send you somewhere else with a straight answer than keep you in a program that isn’t going to get you there. That’s not the kind of practice we run.
Come in and let’s take a look
Book a new patient visit. We’ll do a thorough exam, review your imaging if you have it, and walk you through exactly what’s going on and what your options are. No pressure, no package selling — just a clear picture of where things stand.
